Join the Aquadarts for the second annual
Splash and Dash Duathlon!
Held at Community Pool and Park on Saturday, June 15, this event promises fun for the whole family - children and adults. Competitors will begin with swimming then finish with a run around Community Park and the North Davis greenbelt. There will be a post-race Free Family swim time until 9 pm, and a BBQ dinner and Shaved Ice for sale.
Races begin with an Open race at 4 pm, followed by youth races. Distances:
OPEN # 1 (any age) 800 yard swim 1/2 mile run
6-Under 25 yard swim ¼ mile run
7-8 50 yard swim ½ mile run
9-10 50 yard swim ½ mile run
11-12 100 yard swim 1 mile run
13-17 200 yard swim 1 mile run
Open #2 (any age) 200 yard swim 2 mile run
Two-Person Relay (any age) 100 yard swim 1/2 mile run
Competitors can enter one or two races.
Awards will be given to the top three female and three male finishers in each age group: 6-Under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-17. In the Open Races, awards will be given to top female and male finishers overall; and top female and male finisher in each age group: 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-Up. The top 3 relay teams will be awarded. Additionally, there will be a special award for the top male and female runners with the fastest overall times in the IRONMAN/WOMAN competition (competes in both Open races), and a special award for the Fastest Father in the Open races.
Register by June 12 (by June 1 to guarantee a t-shirt).
