Dart Swimmers
& Parents,
We are very proud of all our
Aquadart swimmers this last weekend. Everyone did a great job
of checking in and checking out. Our swimmers also did a very
nice job with warm-up and cheering for their teammates. It was
great to see such team spirit and cohesion this early in the fall
season. Keep up all the hard work and we should keep growing
stronger throughout the
season. GREAT JOB DARTS!
The
Davis Aquadarts began the fall season with an impressive showing in
their first meet. The DART team had 149 swimmers entered in the
competition that took place at Arroyo pool. A couple other
local teams that entered were UCD Aquatics, Woodland Swim Team,
Vacaville, Salano, Arden Hills, and Glen Oaks.
The
Aquadart performances were led by a record breaking performance
from Riley Hickman. Hickman broke three Aquadart records for
11-12 boys and won all his individual events. The records came
in the 400 IM (4:45.56), 50 Fly (26.64), and 100 Free
(52.66). The boys’ 50 Fly record dated back to 1991 from
Matt Larson (27.14).
The
Aquadart swimmers were also powered by some impressive senior
swimmers that won individual events. Beverly Nguyen, Tara
Halsted, Alex Reiger, Cameron Franke, Holly Riggle, Kyle Nadler,
and Alina Garrido won events in the 15/16 or 17/18
division.

We are proud of all our swimmers
that represented the DARTS this weekend. Swimmers get
individual awards but this weekend was truely a successful team
